Ingredients
  

Salmon
  • 4 salmon fillets about 6 oz each
  • 1 –2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp all-purpose herb seasoning or garlic & herb blend
  • Pinch salt
  • Pinch black pepper
  • ¼ tsp cayenne or Cajun seasoning optional
Bang Bang Sauce
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 –2 tsp sriracha or sambal
  • 1 tsp agave or maple syrup optional
  • 1 tsp lemon juice or seafood seasoning optional
Bowl Base & Toppings
  • 2 cups uncooked rice about 6 cups cooked
  • 1 cucumber sliced
  • 1 avocado sliced

Equipment

  • Baking sheet (for oven method)
  • Air fryer (for air fryer method)
  • Mixing bowl

  • Paper towels
  • Meat thermometer (recommended for 145°F internal temp)

Method
 

  1. Pat the salmon dry with paper towels.
  2. Rub salmon with olive oil.
  3. Season with garlic, onion powder, herb seasoning, salt, pepper, and optional Cajun seasoning.
  4. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha until smooth.
  5. Add optional agave or lemon juice if desired and stir well.
  6. Spread a spoonful of Bang Bang sauce over each salmon fillet.
Oven Method:
  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Bake salmon for about 10 minutes, until flaky and cooked through (145°F internal temperature).
Air Fryer Method:
  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
  2. Cook salmon for 9–11 minutes.
  3. Flip halfway through cooking and brush with more sauce.
  4. Cook rice according to package instructions and fluff with a fork.
  5. Spoon rice into bowls.
  6. Place salmon on top.
  7. Add cucumber and avocado.
  8. Drizzle extra Bang Bang sauce before serving.
